The hot chocolate bar was a hit! We started this last year (when I was succumbing to the Evans family flu) and it was delicious! Happy New Year!!!!

A Trip To Kids Space (& Snow)
We took our first trip to Kids Space last week, they had brought in tons of snow so we decided to make the trip over and see what Kids Space was all about. We loved it, (Sydney LOVED it) and ended up leaving with a six month membership.

Disneyland Christmas Parade Date
Sydney and I were going to have a Christmas parade date last night but since Disneyland was "At Capacity" we couldn't get in. I called today and they were not at capacity so I decided to take her, we had a couple of great surprises: (1) It wasn't crowded at all-I guess the capacity news from yesterday and the rain kept people away. When we walked in (40 min before parade started) there were plenty of curb seats available. So we sat, ate popcorn and waited for the parade-which she loved. (2) The BFF family arrived and joined us for a couple of rides. Awesome!

Christmas Recap (Part 2-Christmas Eve)
Christmas Eve was great. I made my first ever Risotto (it was an asparagus risotto with tomatoes and chicken), Brooke had her first Christmas Eve, in addition to Mom, Andrew and James we had Libby and Keith join us for dinner, Grandma and Sydney played follow the leader and we ended the night by putting out cookies and strawberry milk for Santa.
Christmas Recap (Part 1-The Christmas Train)
Part of the Sauer family and part of the Evans family got together on December 23rd and took the Irvine Christmas Train. We had a great time and the kids got to play in a bounce house, see Santa, decorate Christmas cookies and of course, ride the Christmas train. We had a great time and will likely do it again next year. (I love how in the group shot the Thomas family looks terrible.)
