We found this spot in California Adventure tonight and deemed.it Sydney's. Too bad it is for Duffy the Disney bear (i have always wondered about Duffy and presumed he was some gimic for the Cruise lines).

If you are interested in Duffy I would advise Wikipedia (i just looked him up) but I personally think he is a dumb character and all he has going for him is the Sydney sticker.

Give Me The Binoculars

Binoculars were a hot ticket item on the trip. In this first picture we went back to the motorhome for the binoculars so Sydney could see the moose better. After we got the binoculars Sydney exclaimed "This is so fun!"

Bad Stat

I blogged less times in June (21) then I have any other month since I started blog in 2006. (I blame most of it on Verizon-no service)

These Kids Love Animals!

Today we went to the Petting Zoo off of Los Rios in San Juan Capistrano. What a cool place! Rachel had a Groupon so we got in for free and the kids played at the park, fed the animals, held the guinney pigs (pretty sure this was the biggest hit), rode a train and played in a corn sandbox. When we were leaving Sydney proclaimed that we must go again tomorrow. Great catching up with Rachel and of course seeing Nathan and Kiersten.

My Baby Is In A Toddler Bed

Mom's Garden Rocks!

This was mom's garden AFTER I picked all my vegetables and fruit (Remember tomato is a fruit). Below is the bounty I brought home. 


The food network had a perfect recipe for mom's garden and I ended up making this "Broken Lasagna with Zucchini" however I used elbow pasta instead. It tasted delicious and the lemons, zucchini, and tomatoes were Farmers Market fresh.

Friday Night Guests

The girls loved their Friday night visit from Uncle Andrew and Aunt Grace. After a vacation debrief, hide and seek, swings and some special rock sandwiches by Brooke and soup from Sydney we went to Burrito Express for some shave ice.

In-N-Out, That's What A Hamburgers All About

This month the Food Network magazine has a copy cat recipe for an In-N-Out cheeseburger animal style. Two nights ago I decided to make it.

Observations:

(1) It tasted almost identical to an In-n-out burger.

(2) It took me almost an hour longer to make it then it would for me to drive 5 minutes to get a real one

Going On A Bear Hunt?

This was so funny to me. Brooke kept going this way to get to the motorhome. It reminded me of that song:

Gymboree Goes To Yellowstone

Over a month ago my Mom told me that I should buy the girls these hats and boots to wear at the 4th of July Chuckwagon Cookout we were going to in Yellowstone. I had already bought the shorts and shirts and I ended up getting the dresses as well (So did Becca). Becca left her dresses at home and I decided to just put the kids in the shorts outfit (After all-we were camping). 

All day I was told that my kids were the best dressed that anyone had seen and as we got out of the car for the cookout James said "Uh-Oh, we have some rivals on the cute factor". Mom got out of the car and said "Oh my, it's Gymboree and I told you that you should get those hats". I looked over to see 5 girls all decked out in the hats, dresses and boots"-they were all adorable and I could have shot myself for not picking up the boots and dresses. PS: The girls were traveling from Georgia-made me think of Mrs Braun :)
