Sydney's A Chicken
If given the choice Sydney would eat chicken nuggets for every meal. A couple of days ago we were headed to dinner and the following conversation ensued:
Kim: Sydney, what do you want to eat?
Sydney: Chicken
David: Sydney you are a chicken
Sydney: No, I am not. I am a people
David: No, you are a chicken
Sydney: No, Dad! I am a kid.

The Future Mrs Evans
Today we celebrated Grace! We are so lucky to have Grace join our family and can't wait to make it official in April.
Grace had a great shower in Santa Maria. The food was outstanding! (And we were so lucky to be able to bring some-ok, alot-of it home with us!)
It was great seeing Grace's family and friends and love that they are all so welcoming!
We love you, Grace!
If Chili's Served Breakfast....
They wouldn't be able to come close to Black Cow! This morning David and I were in La Canada and decided to take an impromptu trip to the Black Cow for breakfast. Andrew was shocked to see us and even more shocked that the girls weren't with us on a Saturday morning.
The food was so so good! David had Andrew's recommendation of Banana Bread French Toast which was out of this world and I had the Chili Stuffed Skilled which was a Pasilla Chili stuffed with Bacon, Poached Egg and Cheddar Cheese. I must say that Black Cow chilies are better than Chili's chilies ;)

Fruit N Yogurt Parfait
I am a big fan of McDonalds Fruit N Yogurt Parfaits. It's not because it's only 128 calories or because of the exceptional taste but because I love the packaging. It's so cute, my favorite is the list slot that the spoon fits into. Starbucks should take a hint from McDonalds and create a utensil holder on the Bistro Box.Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Brooke's 2nd Party Highlights
We had a great rainbow party for Brooke yesterday and everyone was able to come (Except Matt who was coaching and winning at State cup). Here are a few pictures from the party. (Thanks to Sydney taking the picture of David, Brooke and I)

The menu was: Rainbow water, Rainbow Disneyland Popcorn, Rainbow Cake Pops (Thank you, Kim Evans-they were awesome), Rainbow Fruit Tray, Cucumber, Tomato Salad, Pasta Salad, Rainbow Pudding, Sandwiches and Rainbow kids meals.

It's Just A Silly Dinner
Tonight, I announced that we were having a silly dinner and I brought the girls items in little clear cups. Shockingly, Sydney finished her first dinner ever and she was super proud of herself. I should know by now, if you make it fun she will usually get on board.

Happy Early Valentines Day!
David is leaving for North State tomorrow so we did our Valentines Day celebration today. Girls loved it (especially their presents-LOL)
