Donut Friend

Mothers Day dinner consisted of donuts....yep donuts. 

Donut friend is like Chipotle for donuts. Sydney chose to have her donut stuffed with peanut butter and topped with maple glaze and sprinkles. I had the same but stuffed with whipped cream. David's was similar except stuffed with Bavarian Cream. Brooke had traditional glazed with sprinkles. Sydneys was the best donut I had ever had. 

I'm sure we will go back.

Malibu Night

The Krueger girls came home with us today and we decided dinner in Malibu was in order. After dinner we headed to the beach for a few minutes of play.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Packers Get Slaughtered

I wonder if I will jinx anything by blogging this at the 2:00 minute half-time warning in the playoff game with the Cardinals? 

We had a great time with many of the Evans at the Packers (8) Cardinals (38) game in Arizona. Brooke was the only Cardinal fan. We also got a birthday dinner in with Laura and Ash. 

Find Your Adventure

We loved the theme of this years Rose Parade-Find Your Adventure which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. For the celebration they turned the Rose Parade into a temporary National Park and the kids got their first Junior Ranger badge of the year. Joshua was also interviewed for being a real life Junior Ranger and he was on the ABC news. Awesome day!

Year End Traditions

We started a new family tradition this year: Going to a restaurant we have never been to on New Years Eve, Eve. We headed to Nikka Fish and Grill in Old Town Pasadena and we didn't really like it.....but where will we go next year????

New Years Eve was fun as usual with Amma, the Kruegers and the Thomas family hanging out on Sierra Madre Blvd (Well in the house). We were joined this year by James, Andrew, Grace and Anabelle. It was a cold night so soup was the theme with Kansas City Steak Soup, Chili and Southwestern Chicken. I won the annual I Love Lucy trivia game by the skin of my teeth.
