Welcome Kodah!

James has adopted a German Shepherd/ Husky mix and has named him Kodah. Tonight Sydney drew Kodah a welcome to the family picture. The freakishly tall woman in pink is Grandma and she is watching Kodah play with his friends. Sydney was not happy when I reminded her that dogs have four legs and so she went back and fixed them-Now each dog has one green leg. Welcome, Kodah! We love you!

Sydney: Then you need to.....pause...pause....pause..find a girl in your class
Sydney: Go to the girl and say What's your name little girl?
Brooke: OK
Sydney: Then she will tell you her name and it might be Kristie or something like that
Sydney: Then when she tells you her name she will ask you Whats your name?
Sydney: and then you say Brooke

Sydney: Thats right, and thats how you get a friend!

Back in September when Andrea came to visit she brought me the most awesome quilt she made. It's light weight and we use it all the time! Yesterday when I got home from my trip and had such a headache the first thing Sydney brought me was "mommy's special blanket". Andrea Braun-I would have never put these colors together, you are so creative and I love, love, love this quilt!
