Our first time was only an hour but quite successful. Brooke declared she wants to go everyday. Once Sydney overcame fears that mom would go too fast (who me?) she had lots of fun and even asked me to go as fast as I could. (Wow)

Lesson learned: the girl need sunglasses next time.

Explaining a Severity One

Last week when my phone was in overload due to a severity one outage Sydney asked me what a Sev 1 was. I explained to her that when there was a sev 1 that people couldn't use the computers and enter in patient information like heartbeats and blood pressure. She gave me the most incredulous look and said "I don't know why people have to call you, I would just use a paper and pencil and write it down"

Two trips to Ariel's Grotto couldn't have delivered more different Ariel's. I asked Miss Megan for her thoughts and she didn't approve of either. For the record I was ok with Sydney's but Brooke's was downright terrible.

On the 60th anniversary of Disneyland's opening I celebrate by sharing my latest Disneyland artwork. This was completed by a Disney Imagineer and this is a signed and numbered edition. It is no coincidence that this is number 22!

Camping Vacation 2015: Day 5

Our last day included a brief trip to Jenny Lake. The kids threw rocks and had fun. After this we went into Jackson for some shopping. Lastly we headed to the Bar J for dinner-Sydney loved it! After the Bar J we started our journey home.

Camping Vacation 2015: Day 4

We decided to head down to the Tetons. After a quick trip up to Dunraven pass to see the wildflowers we happened upon a mother and cubs eating a bison in Hayden Valley. This was awesome and we watched them and then another bear trying to get in on the action for awhile. After this experience we headed to Fishing Bridge where the kids got their Junior Ranger badges. In the evening we stopped at Jackson Lake Lodge, had dinner at Signal Mountain Lodge and then got a campsite at Gros Venture.
