My Sweet Girl

Yesterday Sydney fell during outside playtime at church. My poor girl was in pain and Michelle quickly got me over there. It was clear that we were going to urgent care and after a temporary splint today she got a cast. It's a little "tricky" and so she will have to get X-rays every week for the next month to ensure its healing properly and won't require surgery.

I feel bad that she will be starting Kindergarten with the cast and won't be able to write for a couple weeks and won't be able to play at recess for at least a month. Pray for quick healing please! I love you, Sydney!

We Are On A Mission

Tonight I told the kids we were going on 5 missions and they were so excited. Mission #1 was revealed when we got to the dog park. Mission #2 another Pasadena park. Mission #3 the drive through car wash (they squealed and laughed through the whole thing and they made me wear goggles so i could still see when the water covered the car) Mission #4 the indoor playground McDonalds in La Canada. And the last mission (#5) was getting milkshakes at Connals.

Back to Little June Bugs

Sydney has been here before with Liz but this was Brooke's first time at Little Junebugs. Fun activity and we also got two new kids books from Lisa Loeb (includes music cd that we are all enjoying).

Nova Scotia Lobster

People say Nova Scotia lobster is the best in the world....I believe it! These lobsters were huge, we ordered a few cans of soda, bottle of water, plate of clams, plate of scallops and 6 lobsters for $98~. The lobsters had come out of the bay 45 minutes before we ate them. We really had the best ever lobster experience.

The Lobsta Truck

Yesterday, Aaron, Doug, David and I went to the Lobsta truck up the street. A small lobster sandwhich, crab sandwich, cup of soup and bottle of water cost me about 1/2 of what I paid in Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia lobster post coming soon.
