Sydney's Prayers-The Summary

Sydney's prayers are always pretty similar, there is a thank you for the food but mostly she prays about things she either did or wants to do again. The prayers always sound something like this.

Dear Jesus,Bless this food to our bodies, and we want to go to the hotel and go swimming with Joshuabef (thats another blog), and go to the beach and go to Disneyland and watch Disney Jr. And we want to go in the motorhome and watch a movie at the hotel and go see Nathan and Micah. And go outside and play in the water and watch Little Einsteins and I wore a pretty dress today and go back to Disneyland and go on the carousel. In Jesus Name Amen.

A Zoo Friday

We had a 2 hour zoo adventure this morning, it had been awhile since our last zoo trip and the girls had a great time. Sydney particularly loved the petting zoo. I'm thinking we may have a San Diego weekend next week so we can use our San Diego Zoo and Sea World passes.



It's A Small World After All....

Wednesday evening I was the last person to board the plane. I had taken my laptop out of my carry-on and placed it on the floor while I threw my heavy care-on into the overhead. The passenger in the row behind handed my laptop back to me and I sat down in the middle seat next to the gentleman who had passed through security behind me while I was getting additional screening. After sitting down I received a tap on the shoulder, Anne Marie who had been returning from vacation was sitting behind me and after another look I noticed her significant other was the one who handed me my laptop. We chatted off and on throughout the flight and then on the way down I got it a conversation was the gentleman on the aisle. After about 60 seconds of discussion he knew I was a director at Dell and he was a VP for WWT. Both of us had just come from the CHW corporate office, he had left the Director of Operations for CHW and I had just left the COO for Dell. Small world, I decided we needed a picture, he indulged me and Anne Marie's boyfriend took the picture.

Totally lost any appetite I had. If I was the McDonald's manager I'd been very displeased by this sign.

Miscommunications With 602 284

For some reason I have mentally blocked phone numbers starting with 602 284 from being copied to my phone. I mentally track Shawn, Chip and Carolyn who all have phone numbers that start with 602 284.

I discovered tonight that Chip must think I am a terrible communicator and Shawn must be so perplexed as to why I am always getting him involved in my business. Since August 21st I have exchanged 51 texts with Shawn thinking he was Chip. Shawn always responds so kindly and he actually seems interested in the topic at hand. Tonight in response to my status that I  was expecting the RU updates Shawn promptly responded with a smiley face. :) I thought the smiley face was an odd response so I searched through my previous messages and discovered that while Shawn must think I am insane, Chip must be quite frustrated at my inability to provide timely statuses. FYI Chip-The RU counts are in your inbox.

Joshua's Graduated From Amma's

Joshua starts kindergarten today and mom now is watching 4 girls (under 4)! I can't believe that Joshua is in school, time goes by way too quickly. Love you, buddy!!!!!

Don't Break Into My Car

The other day mom tried to hide her purse in my car. I'm sure nobody could see her purse hidden under the drink carrier. Also note Sydney's giraffe shorts, maybe she thought they would help camouflage it. LOL

Etiquette For When Your BFF is Not On Facebook

Twice this week I have taken a picture of my computer to send to Jane. One was a status update, one was a wall message and now we have the pic below. Is this my responsibility to send or am I just going above and beyond? Do I wait for a conversation and then report in any pertinent updates? Can I answer on her behalf (like below, I answered "we" love Sara) Or does what happen on Facebook just stay on Facebook? (Ha Ha we all know the answer to that)


Safe to say, Jane may not be missing Facebook but Facebook misses Jane.


P.S. More and more people are taking Facebook breaks. Just this last week I noticed my cousin was off (she's now back). I don't think I am on Facebook enough to need a break.
