We went to the Fat Cow at the Grove on Friday night and I was very disappointed. Note my plate of fries with a side of steak and mom's plate of fries with a side of two really small pieces of fish. What a joke!

We went down to the Grove tonight for dinner and to hang out. It was really pretty and they are fully decked out for Christmas (Including Santa). Check out the pics of the girls enjoying the falling snow. (It snows nightly at 7:00 and 9:00). I'm sure we will be back before the end of the season.

Here's To Spending More Time Together!

Tonight we began our efforts to get the cousins together more routinely. Kim and I have been talking about getting together for awhile and last month we decided that we were just going to make it happen. The goal is twice monthly, tonight we had all the kids present and it was great! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of mom with the kids but I did capture the following:

We Aren't Nordstroms

And we don't celebrate "One Holiday At A Time", our dining room is decorated for Thanksgiving but the Living Room and Kitchen are fully decked out with Christmas. I decided that I was going to let the kids enjoy Christmas longer this year so when I put the Halloween stuff away I brought down some Christmas boxes. This picture cracks me up, yes she is wearing her bathing suit while putting up the Christmas stuff. PS. I almost entitled this post "November Christmas-We are in"

Our Trip To Pixie Hollow

Both girls were decked out in Diane gear for our quick trip to Disneyland. The trip included our first adventure to Pixie Hollow. Sydney and Brooke were thrilled to meet Periwinkle (Tinkerbells Sister) and both Tinkerbell and Periwinkle spent several minutes with the girls. It was well worth the wait, they really enjoyed it. Also included in our 3 hour excursion was Finding Nemo, Peter Pan (Brooke's first time on the ride and Sydney's second-she has always been scared of it), Dumbo, the Carousel and Jungle Cruise.

Being Scary (Part 1)

Lunch in Phoenix (and Pasadena)

Monday: I have had St Joe's catering many times but surprisingly I had never eaten at the cafeteria before Monday. Wayne (His first mention on the blog) and I had lunch there and I picked an Italian wrap-it was super good! He had a steak burrito and it looked pretty good too.

Tuesday: I decided to try Qdoba with Laura. I was there once maybe five years ago and decided since I am addicted to Chipotle I should go back and retry Qdoba. The queso sauce I added to my tacos was good and I may have eaten 90% of my meal but the chances of me visiting again in the next five years are pretty slim.

Wednesday and Thursday: Back to my usual steak salad at Chipotle, super good, I might have it again tomorrow ;)
