Happy 65th Dad!

Dad,

I know some of the 65 were better than others, I think thats the way life goes but I want you to know how glad I am that you are my dad. I have learned alot from you over the years and I have some great memories. Some of my favorites are sitting in the passenger seat of the motorhome talking to you, especially on our first night of a long vacation, singing goofy songs, I'll never forget when you filled up the Thunderbird with coins saying it was for the new owner-I thought you were nuts but the next day I found out I was the new owner-that was cool. I hope your 65th year is an awesome one-make the most of it!

Thanks for being my dad,
Kim

Congratulations Mrs Watson

I am so grateful for our friendship, whether we talk daily or every few months I always enjoy our conversations. The fact that we share the almighty 22 is a bonus. :)

The Wonder Watson Wedding Summary

Unfortunately, I had hardly any decent pics of the groom but the Wonder Watson Wedding was super fun! We all had a great time and I am so grateful that I was able to attend! Thank you to the Wilson's for there great hospitality, and thank you to James, Becca and Jason for watching our girls.

South Fork-The Highlights

Before the Wonder Watson Wedding we headed over to Southfork. I was glad we were able to fit an excursion in and this one was especially cool since I had decided there was no better time to download and catch up on the new Dallas then during my trip to um...Dallas.We had fun at Southfork and out of it Darrel gets his first blog appearance :)

Whiskey Cake

I have been to one restaurant in McKinney, Texas and I have been to it twice. In 2011, Sara and I went there for dinner and drinks. In 2013, Darrel and Amy took me there for breakfast. Two trips and they both were excellent. For breakfast I had chicken and waffles (first time ever) and I wasn't disappointed. Whiskey Cake is officially my favorite restaurant in McKinney :)

Where The Magic Happens (Casa Abba)

I was thrilled to finally get to Casa Abba. Other than her bedrom closet (which was double all of the closets in my house put together) the coolest room in the house was her upstairs quilting loft. There were so many wonderful designs and you could just see the creative juices flowing throughout. Super Cool!

Not A Snake

But from the house and across the yard it looks like one.

A Night At El Capitan

We went down to Hollywood tonight to see Peter Pan on its limited engagement before Blue Ray comes out. The girls had fun but other than the "you can fly" song I think the movie is pretty lame.

Welcome Kodah!

James has adopted a German Shepherd/ Husky mix and has named him Kodah. Tonight Sydney drew Kodah a welcome to the family picture. The freakishly tall woman in pink is Grandma and she is watching Kodah play with his friends. Sydney was not happy when I reminded her that dogs have four legs and so she went back and fixed them-Now each dog has one green leg. Welcome, Kodah! We love you!

Welcome To Zion (No Stalkers Please)

What happens when you leave after work to drive to Utah.

Our New Theme Song

Proof that we live 3 minutes from mom's house. The "Great Divide" is now our song every morning and evening on the way home from Grandma's.

Larry and I decided to make it official ;)

Mini-Me

When I looked closely at this picture of Sydney the other day it reminded me of my high school graduation picture. I can't believe how much we look alike.

Edamame To Go

Sydney put all of her edamame in her pocket for later.

First Solo Ride at Disneyland

Well, it was half solo, we were sitting in the back seat on Alice but they felt like really big girls.

I Couldn't Love Her More

I look at this picture and all I can think of is unconditional love.

Football At Thomas Cove

We were ready for the Ravens and the Green Bay game! Thrilled about the outcome of the Ravens game but hated seeing my Packers perform so badly!
