Best Phone Accessory

Laura bought this for me two years ago. I loved it from the beginning but I only used it for fun. Today, I was so tired of holding my phone that I thought I would plug it in and give it a try. I love it! I'm going to use it all day tomorrow, they can mock me at Northridge.

I may order a couple of these to use as gifts...... PS. I do own a Bluetooth headset ......I'm just put of habit using it.

Our Special Person Of The Month

Sydney received the award today for Obedience! Miss Mellen picked her for doing what she is told with a happy spirit. We couldn't have been more proud of her and are encouraging her obedience at home :) #SMR

Practice Makes Perfect

Brooke's headaches/nausea have become more frequent and occurred three times this last week. We ended up today at the ER at Huntington Memorial, she checked out good (negative CT) and we are now attempting to get a referral to a pediatric neurologist. 

We practiced being a patient before the CT and I am pleased to report that she did great! Thanks to the BFF for telling me to prepare her.

Side Note: Huntington goes live on a Meditech to Cerner implementation on March 1st :)

"We're having a royal sleepover, a royal sleepover"-repeat 500 times during this episode of Sofia the First. Today at Target I saw this you which is all about that one episode. I immediately texted James saying it was a toy I absolutely refused to buy. The girls must have watched this episode 50 times during our trip (in the motor home) last summer.

Four Favorites

I ran into four of my favorites in the bathroom at Corporate San Francisco. We had to document it.

"We're Just Playing People!"

The other day Brooke and Sydney were playing with their Disney Characters, something they have done a lot but as they get older are doing less often. My favorite is when they each have the same character and one of the Ariel's will be the mom and the other daughter. This always end with the daughter calling the mom and then I answer.....to which they respond exasperated "Mom, we're just playing people!".

So back to the other day after Brooke exclaimed they were playing people she walked in the kitchen carrying her castle and I couldn't resist capturing this memory.
