The Magic Kingdom

I'm finally doing our Walt Disney World catch-up: Our first day at the Magic Kingdom was nothing short of amazing. What an awesome four year old birthday! We found it not too crowded and definitely enjoyed citing the differences between Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. Obviously it was bigger than Disneyland but I actually expected it to be bigger. I was surprised that the layout was very similar to Disneyland but I thought there were enough differences to make it worth a return visit. Our first day favorites included the following but in no particular order:

(1) Lunch at the Beast's Castle
(2) Story time with Belle-this was a great interactive attraction
(3) Noting the differences in the Haunted Mansion-the fixtures were almost all the same but in different places toward the beginning. The queue line was cool on the outside but terribly managed the whole way.
(4) Comparing the pathetic Small World to Disneyland's awesome Small World
(5) Aladdin's flying carpets
(6) Sydney loved Pirates of the Caribbean
(7) Swiss Family Robinson tree house was cool since Sydney had just seen the movie
(8) Loved Liberty Square and the differences between at the Rivers of America
(9) It was great seeing Country Bear Jamboree again
(10) The Electrical Light Parade-well that goes without saying and will get a post of its own.

The most shocking thing to me was about how empty the park was in the evening. It was a Friday evening and the rides went from moderately busy to empty! There was no influx of Season Pass holders the place was empty-5 minute lines. Crazy!

You Are The Wind Beneath my Wings

It's been awhile since I have heard these lyrics or this amazing song, leaves me in tears everytime but it was even more meaningful tonight and included more tears.

A Trip To Snowopolis

We had a Groupon to Snowopolis and as with most Groupons it was going to expire in two days so we figured we should use it. This Groupon included smores and hot chocolate for four. Pretty cool place! You get to choose from different graham crackers, chocolates, toppings and marshmallows. In addition to this they have shaved ice, cookies with ice cream and shakes. We'll likely go back.

What Would The Title Of Our Movie Be

If there was a movie about us what would it be called? A couple ideas have come to mind (1) Inventing Teri (2) Two Girls on Google Talk (3) Sara and Kim and they are beautiful and they are girls (This is what Sydney would call it) (4) The Little Einsten Princesses (This is what Brooke would call it) (5) Hot IT Chicks (6) It is a big girl movie (Another Sydney suggestion). (7) Through thick and thin

Honestly though, I think it would have to be "Born on 22" with some awesome tag line about being a great friend.....

I adore you! I hope you had the most awesome 3/22 ever! Happy Birthday!!!

LA County Air Show

Yesterday afternoon we went to the LA County Airshow. The girls were a bit bored but enjoyed the Blue Angels. They are so amazing-it was great seeing them again and it was mom's first time seeing them, she thought they were pretty incredible. As a note this was my first trip to Lancaster-wow it's far out there.

Central Coast Fun

We were lucky enough to spend two nights last week on the Central Coast. While I was at work the girls played at Avila with grandma. Later on we went miniature golfing and then a stroll on the beach before a late dinner at AJ Spurs. The kids love the beach and I love seeing them having so much fun!

Texting On Daytime

So the other day on Days of Our Lives Abigail texted EJ. I am grateful she didn't have a text conversation. Is this where TV is going and how sad that these are the days of our lives now! Standing around watching people text or standing there texting ourselves. I am completely bothered by this......in the future will this get worse?

I Got A Present!

Thanks Wonder Watson! This is on the weekend agenda! I love you!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Started with a special green breakfast and ended with corned beef and cabbage. (Great dinner at Mom's) Sandwiched in between was work, school and my only Shamrock shake of the season.

Stacks

If this was a check-in on Facebook it would say: Kim Evans Thomas is at Stacks. Note the last time I was here was with Sara Watson and it was our first meal together

Thanks Eck Family!

And Then This Happened

Good thing I don't cry over spilled milk

T-Ball Has Begun, Return To Hamilton

The girls had their first t-ball game today. Weird emotions being back at PALL and Hamilton Park. I love this place, grew up here and I am thrilled to see the girls enjoy it. The last picture is awesome, it's Sydney watching Brooke making it to first. Warms my heart. Love these girls!

Dissecting Frozen

So this article is about dissecting the Frozen movie and it talks about how annoying all of the hidden stories people are finding within the Frozen movie. I could tell you which ones irritate me but then I would do the same thing as the author-talk about how annoying the dissecting is by sharing all of the dissecting stories again. I liken it to the reply all asking people not to reply all......My favorite of all time "Do you people clicking reply to all realize that you are replying to all?" RO

P.S. I am also really sick of hearing about who Andy's mom really is......Poor John Suida heard me go off on that the other day ;)

It Was Windy Today

Happy Birthday Brooker!

I will go back and back date this to the official birthday on the 21'st but I couldn't let February end without this official post (Kiersten's is next). I can't believe that my  baby girl is four. I couldn't love this angel more. She is so much fun! Her love for life is contagious and she is such a happy spirit in our home. Can't imagine life without this wonderful goofy girl. Happy Birthday Brooke!
