Sydney's "Signature" Move

Everytime she comes in after batting she throws her helmet in the air. I love it!

17 Years Ago Today........

I am really not a fan of odd numbers....we did get married in odd year (97) but what is remarkable about 17? We had really good 15 and 16 year anniversary's but today (17) was underwhelming.

Rachel was going to be here this weekend so we didn't make any plans to do anything or go anywhere.

I went to Costco in the morning and spend $495.00 on virtual nothing since we haven't been to Costco in almost two months. During the day David and the kids went swimming, I stayed in the house and did some cleaning.

I made the decision to take the kids to dinner-that was an error, Sydney whined through half the meal, Brooke gloated that she wasn't whining through the same 1/2. I had a drink, a skinny drink that was 122 calories-that seemed appropriate. We went to Claimjumper-odd choice and the food was just ok.

When we got home the girls wanted to watch a movie and insisted on something called the Swan Princess....it's dumb, not even Disney and yet here we watch.....David is snoring 5 feet away.

Next year we are going away again.....no question about that. Here it is, documented proof of my commitment that #18 will be great!

I love you, DT! Proof that we had some fun during the last year:

PS. Some Blog Trivia:  In 2009, 10 people left me Happy Anniversary comments on the blog. In 2013, that number had dropped to 4

Passing Time At California Adventure

Last week at California Adventure it was highly entertaining watching the janitors try to fish a Samsung phone out of the water. There were several 100 people watching as six janitors tried to get the phone out of Paradise Bay.

Watching Number 6

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed watching this girl play first base on Saturday. She was playing first base at Hamilton Park and on the 2nd diamond and it reminded me of when I was on the Sharks playing softball on the same base, same field, same park and with the same number. So proud of this girl!

The East Valley Go-Live

As cutover for East Valley was in progress I came down with a horrible flu. My plans had me showing up at Chandler by 6:45AM but when I finally woke at 12:30 my first thought was to get on the soonest plane home. I'm all better now and I'll get some good pics tomorrow but as for May 2nd, these are the only two pictures I took.

Congratulations James!!!!! (Class of 2014)

I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished in your 22 years :) I am not aware of anybody who has finished their degree in four years, working the entire time, self paid over $140K, and with no debt! You are really remarkable I pray you put God First and have a great year 23 and beyond!

Seasonal Pringles

I can't possibly express how good these are!!!!! They better have them again next Holiday season.

Before We Were Sick

The gyro pizza I had been craving for months was delicious, the surprise mint gelato was awesome and the company couldn't have been better.
