First Hike: Harlequin Lake

This short 0.6 mile hike is located near Madison and was perfect for the kids. This was Abbey's first real hike and she made it the whole way. We saw a snake by the shore and Sydney enjoyed taking pictures of it. Half of the lake was covered in Lily pads and it was really pretty. The picture with me and the girls is one of my all time favorites.

 

Lessons In Friendship

Return To Bear World

With Joshua, Liz and Abbey with us we definitely wanted to make a return to Bear World. The kids loved it and we saw another first: one bear giving another bear a piggy back ride (thats Sydney's description).

How UnKimlike

After driving 8 hours to Vegas we stopped for gas and I walked in to the 7 Eleven. I came out a few minutes later with three bags of chips. This NEVER happens and when I got in the RV Becca looked at me bewildered to which I said "I can't be trusted to make good decisions after 11:00PM"

Barstow Del Taco (And Our First Vacation Stop)

If you are a Del Taco fan this is the place to stop! If you aren't it's not :) 

Everything is bigger, the tacos are loaded with cheese, the Bun Taco (mom's favorite ever and the Taco Bell version was known as the Bellbeefer) is on the menu and just as Caroline said they have all the sauce packets right on the table!!!! Here's to 50 years of Del Taco!

Nothing Makes Me Happier

I received these personalized M&M's as a thank you last week. They were so cool, Brooke thinks it's hilarious to "Eat mom's face"......she's something else.

During My Walks

I take pictures alot, here's a couple:

First one, nicest looking Plumeria outside of Hawaii, we have two Plumerias growing now and I am hopeful they will be gorgeus. Second one, I like the stacked stone, matches our pool and I think it would like nice in the front yard.
