This is a fun exercise. A couple of things I learned from these two birthday blogs. 

(1) While I am thrilled that you wore glasses from 2007-2013, I love that they are gone!!!

(2) I only wear the repeat scarf toward the beginning of the month and while I had tons of clothing repeats in the first pictures of the month I have none in the end of the month

(3) So grateful for a job that allows so many of these stolen moments. I think we are pretty lucky.

As Seen In Long Beach...

I love you so much and couldn't imagine life without you! Would you believe we didn't get one picture of just us at Disney World? So here I am using this picture of both of us half asleep on December 26. 

I love our traditions and love raising our kids together. I hope you had a great birthday!

Brooke Loves Playing Games

Last week I bought her this little card holder so she can hold her cards in her hands. This weekend we sat at Starbucks at Disneyland and played Frozen Uno. I am pretty sure this made her week-it made mine!

This was the oddest discovery in our card file. I ran onto this card that I obviously sent within the last 6 years. (1) I hate "hubby", always have (2) David doesn't fish and yet somehow I just couldn't resist this card. ODD.

Getting Grounded

Despite what my mom says I was always grounded or at least grounded frequently.  Cleaning the other day I found this picture of Darlene, it seems I am proven right.

2nd Annual Private Parade

We watched the floats head back to Pasadena and Irwindale. Disguised as our mission traditions after getting ice cream we headed over to find some Rose Parade floats. We found them and watched them from four different places before heading to Phoenix floats headquarters in Pasadena. There we had one worker tell us we could have 10 minutes to take flowers but that turned out to be not true and a major letdown but we did get to watch them park the floats in the giant warehouse and we managed to get a couple of flowers to take home. Highlight of the night was when a policeman gave each person a rose from the Bachelor float.

Brooke Got Her Ears Pierced

Brooke woke up the morning of my birthday and declared that she wanted to get her ears pierced for my birthday. She was super brave and we were all proud of her!

Birthday Cards

Sydney went through all my old cards and decided to repurpose one for my birthday. Super cute!

Frozen Camp

The girls couldn't have been happier to go to Frozen Camp! They have such a great time at the awesome camps put on by the Little Princess Academy. If you are in the area and have young girls this is a must!!!!!
