Florida Trip Recap: Day 4 WDW

Day 4 of our vacation started off at Blizzard Beach, one of two WDW water parks. Unfortunately I cannot find my waterproof camera so I we are missing quite a bit of pictures. This place was cool, it's setup like winter time but it's a water park. There is a ski lift that takes you to the top slides and we went on several rides before Brooke got sick and threw up. I stayed with her and mom and Sydney hung out in the main beach area but when we realized she wasn't getting better anytime soon I took mom and Brooke back to the hotel and then Sydney and I headed to the other water park, Typhoon Lagoon. We had a blast together over there and were able to do all the major rides. It was really fun. After the waterpark we headed back to the hotel and Brooke was feeling a little better by that point so we decided to check out the Art of Animation resort and have dinner there. That hotel is awesome for kids. It is highly themed and includes The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Cars, and Nemo themed areas.

WDW Dining: Flying Fish Cafe

Day three dinner was at another place I definitely wanted to eat at-The Flying Fish cafe is located at the Boardwalk and looks out onto the water. The food here was great and I would definitely go back. I had the Char crusted New York Steak and it was fabulous. Mom had the Flying Fish Cafe Idaho Potato wrapped Red Snapper. It was a signature dish that was quite flavorful and we both thought it was prepared perfectly. Sydney had the kids fish sticks and Brooke went for the Mickey pasta.

WDW Dining: Via Napoli

We had lunch at Via Napoli in the World Showcase at Epcot. In two words: It sucked. We came here on reommendation for the pizza and we didn't like it at all. Wasn't a huge fan of the spaghetti flavor and look at our pathetic Antipasta plate. I took a picture of this after we had eaten one piece of salami and I think one pepper. Definitely recommend this place is skipped.

The Staring Contest

David vs Abbey. I lose to Abbey everytime but tonight David was the victor. "To the victor goes the spoils"-I just wanted to say that.

Florida Trip Recap: Day 3 WDW

And a month later we return to Florida to finish up this trip. Day 3 started and ended in Epcot however we took an afternoon break to head to the Boardwalk for dinner. The Flower and Garden show was cool but really what we would have expected (flower wise) normally. Highlights of the day included tracking down the various topiary, trying a couple of new rides (Figment for one) and then heading back in the evening to do Test Track (I promised earlier in the day and the line was 255 minutes long)
