Kicking Off Summer At the Disneyland Hotel

We kicked off summer a few weeks ago by staying two nights at the Disneyland Hotel! It was the first time for us and we had a blast-the details of the hotel were awesome. We checked in right after school and then went to Disneyland. It was a night of firsts with Sydney experiencing California Screaming for the first time, Sydney and Abbey riding Matterhorn for the first time, all the Krueger kids seeing Paint the Night and Disneyland 60th fireworks for the first time and the first time for all of us staying at the Disneyland hotel.

The next day we swam in the pool at the Disneyland hotel and the kids loved the monterail waterslides. Dinner was at downtown Disney and breakfast the next morning was at Steakhouse 65. Great times!

Dogs At Tables

A couple of months back I was having dinner at Sky Harbor with Jean and the table next to us had a dog and the dog was on the table. I had never noticed this before and Jean pointed out that it was unsanitary . Since this trip I have seen at least 5 more occurences in airports. It's an epidemic.

Blueberry Picking

We took our annual trip to Temecula for blueberry picking. Everyone tried to find the biggest blueberries because grandma had lots of cooking plans. Good family fun!

According to my decibal reader and Perdue university this is what the noise (snoring) next to me is equivalent to: 

Garbage disposal, dishwasher, average factory, freight train (at 15 meters).  Car wash at 20 ft (89 dB); propeller plane flyover at 1000 ft (88 dB); diesel truck 40 mph at 50 ft (84 dB); diesel train at 45 mph at 100 ft (83 dB).  Food blender (88 dB); milling machine (85 dB); garbage disposal (80 dB).	80	2 times as loud as 70 dB.  Possible damage in 8 h exposure.

We do share a BFF but it's too bad she hates Disneyland.
