Camping Vacation 2015: Day 2

On day two we hiked to Lonestar geyser for the first time-it was a great hike and the girls brought their scooters. That was the key in us making the 5.4 mile hike. We had a good day that included a Ranger talk and ended with us making the big loop from Norris to Mammoth, Canyon and back to Madison. We saw quite a few animals and another mama bear with cubs.

Camping Vacation 2015: Day 1

Yellowstone

We woke up at Old Faithful and perfectly timed the geyser. After watching Old Faithful we decided to hike up to Inspiration Point. It was a great hike-everybody did good. In the afternoon we headed to Madison campground, the kids played, we had dinner and then went out searching for bears. We found a mama and a couple of cubs and the kids loved watching them. I could have watched the kids watch the bears forever.

Cleaning Closets

I have had a stack of these cool notebooks that look laptops in my closet. Trying to purge I finally handed them off to Sydney and Brooke. They have to go down as my favorite notebooks ever.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July that started with participating in the Sierra Madre parade with the Little Princess Academy. It was awesome! Sydney and Liz held the banner and all of the kids did good. After this there was swimming at our house and then in the evening we went to Becca's for dessert and 4th of July fireworks! After the race was over we headed out in Ravey for our trip.
