My mom gave me these exfoliating gloves that you are supposed to use in the shower. The other day I put them on and got in the shower. I'm sure you can imagine how ridiculous I felt.....absolutely ridiculous. I must say though they worked great and I have used them two more times. In case you are wondering I felt just as ridiculous as the second and third time as I did the first time.

The Weather
Things you can learn about me from my weather app:
*Disneyland is number 2 on my weather list.
*I am always want to be aware of the weather where my team members are
*I traveled to a bunch of places this last year, most of which were added into the weather app and not removed (maybe I am a procrastinator?)
*I want to know the weather where family and friends are located
*I have a trip planned to Orlando
So Glad College Football Is Over
You can all boo me now. The airport is covered with these Auburn people (Some Florida as well) this morning. At $800 bucks a ticket how can these people afford to go with their families? And they didn't wash their clothes last night after the game so are they just traveling in dirty clothes? Ugh, glad Pasadena will return to normal. (If there was a Scrooge for college football it would be me)

Saving Mr Banks
Back in October 2012 David and I saw part of Saving Mr Banks being filmed in Hollywood (http://www.kim1champ.com/2012/10/saving-mr-banks.html?m=1) and we wanted to see it ever since. Tonight we went with Becca and Jason to iPic and saw it, what a great movie. It couldn't have been better, Jacob wrote last week that it was "practically perfect in every way" and I certainly agree.

New Tradition (Maybe)
Tonight I asked the girls if they wanted to go for Ice Cream and then go see the floats on their way "home". They said yes so we went to Baskin Robbins and on the way back we were actually stopped at Madre and Rosemead and were the first car in line as all the floats passed by. It was cool and Brooke said she wanted to see more so after they all passed I decided to drive towards home and check to see if they were going across Foothill blvd. (I didn't know their destination) We parked on Foothill and the floats came by a few minutes later. Some of the workers threw the girls are roses and they were very excited.
About half way through I noticed there were people down the block taking flowers directly off the floats and nobody seemed to be bothered by this so I decided to join in. Several roses later it was the last float and after it passed I noticed a bunch of antheriums (Moms favorite) on the float and I decided that we should get some for her. I called m and had her meet us before heading down to another spot. We ended up on Huntington Drive where I got mom (and me) a bouquet and a few more roses before a cop came by and said it was too dangerous. Once this occurred Sydney started freaking out and I couldn't get anymore. Still great by all, I'm always up for an adventure.
Traditional January 2nd Dinner
Left over ham and Grandma's Potatoes (aka Funeral Potatoes). After dinner I put the rest of the potatoes down the garbage disposal to prevent eating any more. So so good! Up next is Ham Bone Soup for Becca.

Sunglasses On Your Head
Sunglasses are one of my most essential items and this morning at 5:30am they went on my head. At 8:30 they were still on my head and I squinted for a whole series of pictures starting with Deb.
Happy New Year!
We had a great group this year for the parade! The group included first time parade goers, families, kids from Sydney's class, as well as some Parade regulars. Weather was beautiful, floats were good, breakfast was awesome (Larry's Cinnamon Rolls were a big hit) and company was great! The only downer was that Brooke was not feeling well and not her bubbly self. Overall, good time had by all, Happy New Year!

Santa Was Here
I determined that it was going to be a pain to wrap the princess car so we decided to use Capturethemagic.com to take a picture of Santa dropping it off. The plan is when we are almost done with presents I will announce that Santa just sent me a picture.
