Today as I am driving down the road (I always drive) David decides to speak and when he does he inadvertently delivered the quote of the day. Note, this is a semi-irritated husband speaking to his wife who has not been amused and in fact is quite annoyed: "The Double Yellow is Not a Suggestion". The annoyed wife, pulls the Blackberry Pearl off of the dash and proceeds to take a photo of the car as it is now further over the yellow line than it was a few moments earlier......unfortunately, I am not able to upload photos. It will follow at some point.

Over the years I have discovered that irritated people usually make wonderful comments. Unfortunately their genuis remarks have to wait until the fiz disappears.
Kim, please give the pants back to David! Are you attempting to become the poster child for women drivers around the world? Fortunately, the seas are safe with only male captains!
Yeah, this is why I always MAKE the husband drive (see, I'm still wearing the pants because it is my choice for him to drive). I cannot deal with the stupid comments that pop out of his mouth when I'm driving. My #1 least favorite thing for him to mention is when I only have one hand on the wheel. Hello, who drives down an uncrowded highway with both hands on the wheel?! He certainly doesn't! and that is why I make him drive.
I agree with you Queen B...I am always shotgun, always. But I am, at all times, in control and the pant-wearer. You see, it is easy for me to sit there and tell him "how to drive, how fast to go, how to slow down" etc, all the while, sitting in the passenger seat, relaxin'. It drives him CRAZY and I love it! Our poor hubbies!! :)
Wow, there is no way my wife drives when I am around. Even though I seem to be an idiot magnet (Been Hit 4 times), I still prefer to drive.
I think you are all wrong! We should be doing whatever our men are telling us to do! They should be wearing the pants! (cuz their legs don't look as good as ours!) And the double yellow lines are REALLY NOT A SUGGESTION! If somebody would have just listened to the facts, instead of getting emotional about it they would realize that only the truth was spoken. LISTEN TO YOUR MEN LADIES!

You rock Queen B!!! Truth of the matter is that my hubs is in fact a great, safe driver. I just have a bossy, controlling side to me that tends to come out when I am sitting shotgun. He knew that before he married me, so there!! :)
F the double yellow. My husband never "lets" me drive. That's why I have my "own car."
