QB: I could see Hawaii or even AZ for USS Arizona. Why NM? Might need to google that

QB: I vote for the NM one to be ranked as worse dressed for lack of scenery and too many 18 wheelers

Just a guess, but a Pearl Harbor Hwy in NM could be in honor of the war ending because of the nuclear bombing. The nuclear bombs were created and tested in New Mexico. We didn't officially get involved in the war b/4 Pearl Harbor was attacked.
Apparently the I-10 from AZ to TX is the Pearl Harbor Memorial Hwy - I Googled - I couldn't help myself! http://www.dvs.state.nm.us/pdfs/vet_memorials_nm.pdf
I recommend every america visit the USS Arizona Memorial. It's a deep, emotional experience.
