NVM

NVM is the acronym for never mind. There is nothing worse than never mind. Today, I got the never mind twice, first by Mike then by Glenn. Mike's was for real, Glenn's was because he heard me telling Mike exactly what I think of NVM and just decided to give it back to me again. Sigh, as if the day wasn't long enough.

What NVM really means is "You suck, you are too slow and I don't have time to wait for you so I'll just figure something else out".

True.

At my house, we call that whatever. Whatever= f you

It is like LOL. "Yeah, it is interesting, but you don't deserve a real comment because it isn't good enough for me."

I thought it meant "No Voicemail" and it made me happy :)

I was wondering what your blog of NVM was going to be about.

One of my students will ask a question that doesn't make sense and I will say to him "I'm not sure what your asking" and his usual answer "NVM". That just pisses me off!

Never heard of this one, thanks for sharing.

I thought NVM stood for Non-volitile Memory. I always use NM for "never mind"
When I say NM on chat, it usually means "thank you for giving me the opportunity to figure this out on my own" lol ;)
