. They are super comfortable and if they are clean they are always my pajama of choice. In recent months their wear has been way too obvious, the seems in the legs had come out, there are multiple holes, the drawstring is out and elastic is now visible. A few weeks ago I decided they were done, yesterday they made it to the trash. Before trashing I took a picture of them to document their wear. These pants have been great travel companions and have visited many places with me including: Yellowstone, Reno, Sacramento, the Bay, Phoenix, Atlanta, New Orleans, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, and Yosemite...just to name a few.
Goodbye red pajamas, you will be missed.

May they rest in peace or is it pieces? :)
My weekly red preggo photo pj pants are almost in the same condition. I used to wear them to bed after each Tuesday photo, now I take them off because I'm afraid they won't make it to the end.
RIP red pajamas
pressure on David to find an equally comfy pair this Christmas?
I hope you had a replacement on hand!
This sounds like the scene in Mr. Mom when the son gives up his wubbie...my mom, survivor of WWII on a farm in Southern ID, would have replaced the waistband and eked a few more years out of them. My frugality is both genetic and environmental, apparently...
Damn that I missed the ceremony
You didn't have to throw them away. I have PJ's that were so comfy but worn that I just folded and put away. They were from a good time in life that I want to keep. Poor pants. Christalle
