If you didn't know, this weekend was Carmageddon in Southern California.The 405 freeway (from the 101 to the 10) was scheduled to be closed the 16th and 17th but opened 17 hours early.
Alot of people are pretty happy that Carmageddon has come to an end. (The construction company doing the work received a $300,000 bonus for completing early, had they been late they would have been penalized $6000 for every 10 minutes each way was not opened or $72,000 an hour)
If you are ever in a traffi jam that resembles carmageddon to you, feel free to use the suggested carmageddon play list.

I'm really impressed they finished early. What a project to get completed in such a short amount of time.
I know this was a lot of talk but did it really end up turing into that big of a deal?
