Dinner at T-Rex

I booked dinner at T-Rex in Downtown Disney Florida about six months ago and while the food was as expected (Rainforest Cafe like-no I am still not a member) the ambiance was cool. The kids had a great time and the adults all thought it was a good meal. Warning: Don't get the nachos they were crazy salty ;)

All Star Movies Resort

We stayed in the Toy Story section of the All Star Movies resort at WDW. Walking to our room included walking through a giant door into Andy's room where there were larger than life Toy Story figures and the just went crazy with excitement. Mom joked that had we left the next morning the kids would have thought they had gone on an awesome adventure. It was super cool place. 

An Orlando Surprise

As I was heading down the escalator to baggage claim I spied Rachel sitting at the bottom. Everyone was expecting a Rachel arrival the next day and were so surprised to see her! What an awesome surprise!!!! 

Family Adventure to Orlando

We had a blast when we were in Orlando in February. I came back and immediately told Becca that we needed to take our kids together to which she responded "No, way". Well we worked it out and planned a December trip to Walt Disney World. Here we all are at Burbank, on the plane and in Phoenix. (except for James who flew in on a different flight) Oana was awesome getting us all setup at the gate and taking the family photo. Ready, set, here we go!!!!

I plopped down in one of these last week and about broke my tail bone. After mocking them the last couple of times I was at the mall I decided they must be super comfortable or nobody would have bought them. I was so wrong-the most uncomfortable chair ever. This is what they get for a 20 million dollar mall upgrade?? This person should be fired.

Lucky Girls

 Mom, Sydney and Brooke got to accompany me a few weeks ago on a work trip to San Francisco. They went to the Academy of Science during the day and we went to dinner in the evening. Mom and  I shared the Prime Rib at The Stinking Rose-so good! This was the kids second trip to San Francisco this year and they loved it again. Fun times!

Sydney was the best dressed in the school for the feast since she insisted on wearing her Pocahontas costume to school that day! She is so funny, sometimes lacking confidence and other times so unique and confident in her decisions. I love this girl! The second pic is of the blossoming friendships of those entering kindergarten next year.

Kicking Off Christmas Party

Tonight we had a Christmas kickoff party that included a 92 degree swim, hot chocolate bar, dinner, and smores for dessert. We had about 45 people and it was fun getting to know new friends and reconnecting with older friends. The kids had a blast swimming and playing hide and seek. Good times had by all.

Black Friday (Grey Thursday???)

We ran into Andrew at Grace at the Target in Azusa. It was Grace's first Black Friday adventure and it couldn't have been better! As much as I was completely against the stores opening early it was actually great for us. We usually have Thanksgiving dinner in the afternoon so heading to Target afterwards was much more convienient than midnight or 5AM. Crowds were bad and we took the Target #Salefie in an attempt to win 10K. After Target we hit the mall briefly and then we were home by 10:00. 

PS. For those that think we are crazy for participating in Black Friday this is a long tradition for us and it is fun! I totally enjoy this night out shopping with Becca, Mom and James (and now, Andrew and Grace) Thanks for Kim Evans for encouraging the online shopping-we did this too!
