Most Dangerous Airports

Am I happy that Sky Harbor is on this list? Not so much! The caption about Sky Harbor in Phoenix (picture below) states that new buildings and constant construction interfere with the control towers ability to visually track planes.

Also noteworthy, in the last year I have flown into 5 of the top 12 most dangerous airports. Anybody have me beat? I know of one person who can at least tie me.......

Anyhow, here is the top 12 airports in terms of danger:(1) North Las Vegas, (2) Long Beach, CA, (3) Charlotte's Douglas Airport, (4) LAX, (5) Boston's Logan Airport, (6) Sky Harbor, (7) Newark, NJ, (8) O'Hare, (9) Philadelphia, PA (10) Daytona Beach, (11) Midway, Chicago, (12) Fort Lauderdale. FL

That airplane looks like it is driving on the freeway overpass. That is dangerous!

Jay walking is dangerous also. Look to see how many accidents happened at those airports, then decide if the list is really worth anything.

Got you beat by one = 1) North Las Vegas, (2) Long Beach, CA, (4) LAX, (5) Boston's Logan Airport, (6) Sky Harbor,(8) O'Hare. Seems that this is for USA airports only. Ever been thru Mexico's Airports? Ducktape is optional.

You will remember, Champ, that one of my very first posts was on the tower at Sky Harbor. Don't say I didn't warn you!

According to my calculations I have been to six (did I win a competition?). However John Smith says that I have not been to North Las Vegas. If this is the case I would challenge whether or not other responders have as well.

North Las Vegas
Long Beach, CA
Charlotte's Douglas Airport
LAX
Sky Harbor
Midway, Chicago

No I am not that competitive. ILFAL

An Epiphany struck me while exercising.

I was at the Philadelphia airport last September and will be at the Boston airport in June!!!!!!!!!!

Not so sure I should celebrate. There is no joy in danger or the thought of planning for funeral potatoes.

hmmmmmmmm

Attention Jon e!

You need to learn how to fully read the blog before responding.

Please note the following:

(1) I am your manager and I know that you have not been away from work enough in the last year to have gone to all these airports. It is a one year effort, not a life time effort. Lifetime, I too have been to more than 5!!!!

(2) If you do not thoroughly read the blog the next time I will use that ducktape and it will not be optional

P.S. Please don't be afraid to come back and post more comments
