Yes. Absolutely terrible but believe it or not, I would still recognize that writing if you didn't even sign your name.

So maybe it was always bad? :)

Kim, Is this a perfect example of a oxymoron? "Beautifully Horrid".

One side of the post card has a beautiful mountain- and the other side? Oh my, Not so much.!.

Its also a great example of one mans trash is another mans Blog.

But the best example is your mom. I think its sweet that she still keeps the little things that you try to make. This is a post card only a mother could love...

Kim, I don't think it's THAT bad! I can read "Greetings!" I think the photo is just a little blurry, that's all!

What a great piece of history! Almost looks like there is stress in the handwriting too!

You could have sent that one! I can read it plus James and your mom would not have had evidence of your so called bad penmanship. You were on vacation so there should not be stress in your writing, I think the samll pen is at fault.

I can read it and I don't think it is all that bad! I have seen way worse. Granted, it is far from neat and structured, it is still legible. You could've sent it!

I can read most of it. It isn't pretty but it isn't the worst I have seen.

Who starts a postcard / letter / note with "Greetings!"?? Were you sending the postcard to some sort of alien culture you were trying to befriend?

Nothing wrong with that pen, by the way.

Now I understand why I didn't receive a postcard, you threw it out! It would have been the thought that counts though...

stupid

Does it really matter what the writing looks like? I would have been happy to receive a post card from KIm or anybody. To me this means that this person has taken the time off their vacation to think about me.

Receiving something like this, no matter how bad we might think the penmenship might be, is thoughtful and considerate.
