Happy Boarding

To the left is the Southwest sample boarding pass they have on display at Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix. It sure puts you in a positive mood when going through security.

Seriously Kim, how do you do all of this traveling? I went through security like 8 times this year and you do that like in less than a month. You must be soooo patient! No cheerful boarding pass would make me in a good mood in the security line. By the way, do you put everything in a little baggie?

I've got to brush up on the baggie requirements...I'm carrying on to Denver on Sunday - any tips Kim?

Raise your hand if you like SWA?

The last time I visited Mexico I was embarrassed to overhear a group of ignorant people who could not speak Spanish but put an "o" at the end of English words to convey their needs. It was the ultimate of stupid..."where - o is the rest-room-o? and I need a beer-o please.... actually with that mentality a few beers wouldn't hurt. This Boarding sign, to people as ignorant as that, would phonetically mean bullets are necessary to board the plane instead of tickets. Now some folks consider bullets an anger management tool, however in this day and age the clearer the message the better....this is not clear and is almost as bad as having to choose which language you get to use on the phone..I will save that comment for later. OK I ramble...I am only boarding happy when I am an "A" and I get a free beer because the plane is late again...if I get a "c" I am all but sitting in the rear toilet and do not get to sit with the person with whom I am traveling and I tend to get vertigo in Orange County when, at John Wayne Airport, you take off straight up and then cut the engine...kind of like a ride at Disneyland!

LOL, it takes a lot more than a picture of a boarding pass to get me happy at an airport!

Positive mood - Yea right.... Ever tried to go through Sky Harbor security at 6 am on a Monday morning... Nothing positive about it.

They should add to the "happy boarding pass" that they will charge for peanuts and drinks...down with SWA! Always late and horrible customer service! Not to mention their dilapidated airplanes! Yuck!
