Last week, I was with James waiting for my drink at Starbucks when the following conversation took place:
James: When you go to Starbucks are you normally happy or depressed?
Kim: Thats an odd question, normally happy, what about you?
James: Well it depends if you are going to sit here or get it to go.
Kim: I love to sit here and people watch
James: Yeah, me too but look at that guy
Kim: That guys a dork
James: Yeah, now thats depression
I can say that probably 95% of the time I am at Starbucks I am happy. The other 5% is a mixed bag, I have definitely had some bad days there......Saturday, I was angry and ended up arguing with a homeless man. Thats a blog for another day.

Arguing with a homeless man? Now that's got to be a good story!
Starbucks = happiness!
At least it cures my depression in the morning!
Arguing with a homeless man may indicate some hormonal imbalances, champ!
I am always happy happy happy when I go to Starbucks. I get even happier happier happier as I sit and drink my delightful espresso concoction watching people... Then I get sad sad sad when I realize just how much money I have spent on these delightful concoctions... probably could have bought a beach house by now with that money!!
Even if I go into starbucks unhappy, it usually turns that frown upside down. There is always someone interesting enough to watch there that will perk me right up.
I need my Starbucks every morning to wake me up and put me in a cheery mood. My husband usually goes on the way to the office and brings me home my venti nonfat latte before I am even out of bed...is that service or what?? :)
But when I do go into Starbucks to order, I am usually happy unless it takes a super long time to get my drink, or even worse, when someone who ordered way after me gets their drink before mine!!
It really depends on how long the drive-thru line is. As I rarely get out of the car with two kids to get my fix. They now yell, Mama's coffee when they see a Starbucks. I am ususally happy when I go unless the kids are barking their orders from the backseat and the line has 20 people in it!
There is nothing like Starbucks at Christmas time! I love the Christmas cups.
Most of the time, I am in a good mood. But when you get some F.N.G. behind the counter, that screws up every other order, thats a different story.
Wow, this is definitely a trick question. Can we talk about the homeless guy?
I just wish I knew
