Parking Decisions

Today, I didn't have $6.00 cash to park in the parking lot of the doctors office building. I had to go in for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test since my 1 hour test was high. I decided that since I didn't have the 6 bucks I would take my chances and park on the street. So.....3 hours later I emerge to find a $37.00 ticket. I guess that was my reward for starving myself and getting poked 4 times.

It should be illegal to charge for parking at doctors' offices.

I quit going to the doctor that charged $2 for parking on the principal that I never carried cash and found it RIDICULOUS that they even bothered charging the $2!

Well that and they said that the only thing wrong with my neck/back/brain was STRESS!!! Maybe I was stressed about having to carry cash to PARK?!

Clearly this hit a nerve :)

At least your car wasn't towed. :)

This is where my Dad's advice would have come in handy...ALWAYS carry a $10 bill on you, just in case you need some cash. ;o)

Uuugh, that sucks. I find paying for parking riduculous. And then to go in, fast for the test, get poked in the arm and come out to find a ticket! Total bummer.

You have to let us know how the results turn out with your glucose...
