I have never been a college football fan but so many of you are that I am considering that after 34 years of becoming one. I have always denounced stating why would I want to root for amateur teams when there are pro teams out there? It's not like I root for minor league baseball teams. So I guess the question is USC or UCLA? I will tell you that I am leaning to USC but I want your opinion so I have added a new poll.

You are in california so i guess you have to stick with one of those teams. that being said if you want to be part of a family go Sooners. I will personally adopt you.
If you can't do it go usc -- they are better than ucla.

LOL, Ann and LoSpace. I totally spent my Saturday night reading at the A&M game. It was gorgeous weather to be outside and was much more interesting reading the program than letting my eyes wander onto the field ;)
You can't go wrong with either, Kim. USC smashed their opponent Saturday, UCLA pulled out an exciting OT victory last night over a good opponent.

I'd say USC but if you become a USC fan now people are going to say you are a bandwagon fan and because of that you may want to choose UCLA.
I am questioning why are you leaning to USC...? What is the reason? You know that USC stands for University of Spoiled Children!!! I go for UCLA, simply because I like their colors better!!!
I love college teams because they tend to be more in it for the love of the game. So many pros are just in it for money and showboating.
Why not go out a limb and go for a college not near you? Like, oh I don't know, say University of Kentucky.

You have got to be kidding me! There is only one team worthy of your endorsement. THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES! Not only are they the best team they also have The Best Damn Band in the Land! College is not fixed like so many pro games. It is shorter than pro football as is the season. There is nothing like going to a game, tailgating, and spending a great time with friends.
