Ever since this my vacation has blown. Nothing seems to be going right. For example: Tuesday, I took Sydney to the LA Zoo and we got there at 9:15 (Since we thought it opened at 9:00) and it didn't open until 10:00. There is really nowhere kids can run around there so basically we struggled with half baked games until 10:00AM and at which point she was so tired and cranky that we were outta there by 10:45.
But that is just one example of many. Let me tell you how this afternoon went. David said he would be leaving work by 2:00 at the latest so I booked a 3:30 pedicure. At 3:15 I called to see where he was and he was just leaving work. Aggh. I rescheduled for 5:30. At 5:15 I walked into Starbucks to grab a Vivanno and they were out of bananas. (Never mind they are in the same shopping center as a grocery store, don't they have a way to remedy their banana outage?) I really didn't want caffeine so I asked for a decaf Mocha Frap. They can't make that at Starbucks (Seriously?). I just told the barista to forget it and walked out.
I got to thinking that a small Strawberries Wild from Jamba Juice would be okay so I walked across the parking lot to Whole Foods since there used to be a Jamba Juice inside. I discovered there is no longer a Jamba Juice inside the store. There is a coffee shop in it's place so I asked if I could order a decaf Mocha, they said sure. They made me a decaf mocha and I left, got in my car and drove to the beauty salon. On may way in I had a sip and it was terrible, ultimately I tossed the entire drink.
I went in to get my pedicure and I got the only massage chair in the whole place that was broken. Nice, huh?

Aunt Rachel and the beach seem to be the combo for a good day. Glad you're recreating that today!
Btw, it drives me bananas when Starbucks runs out! Send someone to the freaking grocery store people! It's one of the very few things I get there right now!!!
Poor thing! You DEFINITELY should have come to Georgia. I would not have run out of bananas.
When I worked at TGIF, I made many a trip to the grocery store to pick up products when we ran out. It's called food (or beverage) service, people! I am completely in shock that you had to leave Sbux empty handed. I am marking that down as a day for the ages.
Hmmmm... so caffeine is the secret ingredient that makes mocha fraps delicious?
sorry your vacation sucks :( I give David the bigger star for sucky day, though, since he had to go to work, work later than expected, and did not get a pedicure ;)
