I used to love collecting rocks...until I found one that had a "fossil" in it, which I stored in my bedside bookcase. Turns out the "fossil" was actually a little nest of stick bugs, which hatched.
Now I make sure a REALLY wash off my rocks before I bring them into my bedroom.
