BACN or Bacon?

Is there possibly an internet acronym that I don't know? BACN, pronounced Bacon, means email that you want but don't need to read now. The mail is not unsolicited but how often do you actually read news from your ING Direct account? I just learned of this acronym today. You can read more about Bacn in this article and even Wikipedia now has a definition for BACN.

It seems that people just can't get enough of Bacon these days. From Bacon Bandaids to Bacon Salt, and now Bacn in your email, Bacon is everywhere.

I guess I'll need to read the articles...I don't get the relationship between BACN and email.

I'm thinking that the relationship between "Unneeded" e-mail and bacon is equivlant to the relationship between "Unsolicited advertisment e-mails and SPAM."

Someone was just trying to keep it with the meat theme I guess.
