I am pulling a Queen Bee today and I actually have some required reading. Please read the article and then note the following questions/observations:
*Of course the kid wants a Chai Tea
*I have only ordered a "short" once. Has anyone else ordered a short?
*Everything at Starbucks comes in decaf except Chai Tea so I don't see the issue
*Is it a problem that when Joshua sees the Starbucks logo he says "Mama"?

My signature drink is a double short americano with a splash of room temperature soy! Shorts rule!
So far my Starbucks addiction is mine alone. My kids know that when we are in the Starbucks drive-thru, there is nothing fro kids there. I wonder how long until they realize that's not necessarily the truth.
*I have never ordered a short. Not sure why that would be done. Maybe if you were about to have to go through security at an airport and couldn't take it with you?
In semi-related news, San Francisco voted to ban a new Starbucks from building. They feel it threatens the small businesses. I just don't get it.... there is seriously a Starbucks every 20 feet in the city, and they start trying now to limit them?!
Kim - great job on required reading :)
Of course they kid wants whatever his mom wants because that is what they know. It is the same when my 2 year old asks my for some diet dr thunder. (Yes, my addiction, but not for my kids.)
Here is a thought, discipline. Parents please don't put any soda or chocolate milk in a bottle and don't give your kid chai tea or coffee if they are still supposed to have naps.
Wow, the anger really messed up my spelling. I have meditated and no longer feel anger.
it is not bad that Joshua says "mama" when he sees Starbucks...well...maybe it is.
I really don't think I have ever ordered a "short".
I get Joshua a water when I go with him and he thinks he is getting his own "starbucks". The question is...when aunt kim and grandma take him...does he get his own drink???
LOL! Forget about the Starbucks, Joshua is so dang cute! I love that little boy.
Go big or go home!
