It's A Dead Man's Party....

They played Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party tonight on Desperate Housewives. Brought back some great memories, as there were several Oingo Boingo concerts in my past. The first one I attended with our good friend, Jinjer at Irvine Meadows. Best part about it is I had to hide the Dia De Los Muertas t-shirt I bought from my mother (which means I only wore it two or three times)

Favorite Oingo Boing song: Not My Slave, closely followed by We Close Our Eyes
Favorite Oingo Concert: Farewell Concert at Universal Ampitheater, 1995
Favorite Oingo Boingo Concert Companion: Jinjer

Do tell iIf you have been to an Oingo Boingo concert........what was the best part of your Oingo Boingo concert experience?

Hey niece, I saw them as the opener for The Police back in the early 80's. Personally........I thought they were awful!!! Maybe it was the bad sound that the old Forum used to have.

Kim, only few will ever know the greatness that we experienced with Oingo Boingo! If I count back, I honestly can't remember how many OB concerts we went to. But each and every one of them was such a wonderful, fun time full of the best memories! I had to hide my shirt too but I snuk wearing it to soccer practice.

Not My Slave and We Close Our Eyes: Definitely the 2 best OB songs. We used to sing SO loud when they played them!
Favorite Concert: One of the ones we went to on Halloween.
Favorite Concert Companion: KIMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

I went to countless Aerosmith concerts. We traveled many miles to see them. OB - not so much!

I saw them at Irvine Meadows. At the time, one of our friends used to babysit for the bass player, so needless to say, the best part was the BACKSTAGE PASSES! Got to meet the band (incl. Danny Elfman), get autographs, and sit with the bass player and shoot the breeze. A great ending to a great concert. Saw them on two other occasions as well.
