I guess she is about here. (Yikes) I have tried my best over the past 23.5 weeks to not inundate the blog with PG stories but I imagine that over the next 8 weeks there might be more than usual. (That's a public service announcement)
Here are a couple of updates:
* A few days ago, my sister Rachel, said that she was getting sick. I then bragged that all those pg vitamins had kept me from getting sick like everybody else out there. BAD MOVE-I am now completely sick, coughing and sneezing and barely sleeping.
* I am still on target for meeting my pg weight goal. So far I have gained 19 pounds.
* Ultrasound scheduled for week 37. I have no idea how big she is. Hopefully she's small ;)
* David and I are going shopping for the last of the big items this week (Pac N Play, bouncer etc.)
* Mom and I are going shopping for the last of the little items this week
* If I don't have her by the 31st I will probably take that last week off (meaning my last day of work will be March 28th) and I will officially be back to work on 7/7/08
* Originally, I was shooting for her birth on the 22nd however my sister Rachel will be out of town that day so I am now hoping for March 27th.
* The birth certificate paperwork has not been filled out since David and I still have not agreed on the spelling of her middle name (I think he still hates the name Leeann)
* Sydney does not kick me, hardly ever. If I have felt more than 1 kick in the last couple of weeks I would be surprised. She moves all the time, but no kicking or hitting.
* Following her birth, should I turn off email to my Blackberry during the first six weeks?

YES!
Let's hope for March 25th...that's 22 + 3 :)
BTW, this is a pretty long blog for you :)
Feel better!
Hope you feel better soon! I'm still hoping for April 1 (Princess's b'day). Have fun shopping!
You turn off your blackberry for six weeks let alone one day? This I've gotta see! BTW have you planned for the contingency that Sydney might be late in coming? I wonder how many of your readers first babies came on time or early? Congrats on the weight. Feel better soon. kays
I think once Sydney arrives, you will have no interest in checking email on your BB. ;) I will shut off your email on the BB on March 28th 12:00AM. lol
Hope you're feeling better.
Awesome job on the weight - 19lbs with 4 weeks to go - RIGHT ON, that's why you're the champ!
Another great "Lo-CD" tip: keep a zipper mesh laundry bag in the baby hamper for baby socks. Put all pairs (that's the critical part) of dirty baby socks inside. When you do laundry, all the socks are packaged together, saving LOADS of time searching and pairing adorable clean baby socks. Because you seem like a person who would want the socks paired, for sure.
Also, I was always dying to check email after the kids were born, hardly had time to do that and everything else, so make it as convenient as you can. Even if it means BB email. Maybe you will want to check it after those lovely 2am feedings!!
Turn off BB email? Take it from someone who functioned all last week w/o BB email - NOT fun, just annoying! ;)
I'm happy to get the pg update. I can't believe she's almost here!
Can't wait to hear the ultrasound update :)
WOW you are getting so close KT! How exciting!!! I am sure you already know what my answer is regarding turning off email to your BB...I say no way! I also say leave it connected and during Sydney nap times when you are relaxing, you will want the BB!!!
Wow, Sydney could be born at any time! I am soooo excited. You look fantastic no matter how much weight you have gained.
By the way, March 15 and March 18 are both good birth dates.
Don't turn off your BB until after you send out vital statistics about the birth.
Yes you should turn off your blackberry. Let's be honest though, you won't. LOVE YOU KIM!
sure, turn off the blackberry e-mail, you don't want the e-mails from work! but, just let us know which of the other 15 e-mail addresses to use!
hope you feel better!
:)
Definitely turn off email to your Blackberry! Hello??? Trust me, you won't feel like checking email for the 1st few weeks, anyway! :o)
How are you going to mobiley blog labor and the birth if you turn it off???
I love the PG updates, how less will I live without children until my husband is ready to have kids?? I hope you feel better soon. I am with Jenn have her on the 25th!!
Turning off the BB is up to you... You know you will want to check your email the fastest way possible which is probably the BB.
We want to see pictures and know details after she is born too!
I was hoping for a dilation note, so I could make an accurate guess of the due date (maybe that is too personal for you to post here.) I am voting for April, but not to be mean.
The BB should honestly be turned off for at least first 7-10 days after you give birth. Even though you fully recover after 6 weeks, at least things will settle down by then. (Obviously longer for c-section.)
