I got the email below and I am not sure if any of this is true but thought I would pass it on. Frankly, I don't see anyone spending less, every store I go to has long lines. The other day at Macy's the children's department alone had lines over 20 people deep. But the economy is tanking.......

Awesome post, a slight warning with the touch of sacrasm.
Its the economy stupid :)
So glad there's hope
yeah. I'm excited about my $50 LNT gift card that I didn't redeem before they filed for bankruptcy...
17 Ann Taylor stores are being "shuttered"? how nice that they are redecorating...
:)
I do not know of any Dillards that are closing but they are "restructuring".
well go to EATON'S GIFTS AND MORE, we aren't closing!
I saw the story on Good Morning America about a week after I received the email and a lot of the stores on the list are doing just fine. Some are true though.
