MUG stands for Moves of Uncommon Greatness. I love that!!!!!! (and need to come up with something similar, with Champion in it of course) The MUG pins are distributed directly from one barista to another when they spot their co-worker doing a move of uncommon greatness. I love recognition and I love peers recognizing each other. Believe me, we will implement something similar, when we do, I hope it catches on, I hope people aren't cynical about it, and I hope people feel recognized.

i've seen these and love that they give the baristas recognition. i didn't know that it was peer-to-peer. i think they should let the customers decide when a 'move of uncommon greatness' has occurred - either to themselves personally or when witnessing a MUG with another customer.
