After Sydney I found that the eyebrows were the thing that never seemed to get done. I could never remember to go in and get them waxed. So one day after arriving in Phoenix (and before getting to the office) Jane relays the following conversation between a certain male someone (who obviously didn't know we were BFF) and herself:
Jane: We'll need to consult with Kim Thomas on that Field Services question
Certain Male Someone: You know what bugs me about Kim Thomas
Jane: What?
Certain Male Someone: Promise you won't tell anyone?
Jane: I promise
Certain Male Someone: She used to have great eyebrows and now they are terrible
After hearing the story, I made Jane stop at the closest salon and let me get them waxed before going to the office. So, since then I have been better but not great at getting them done. (Of course I try to get them done before going to Phoenix but this last week I didn't)
Anyway, part of the problem with the eyebrows is that I hate the way everyone has been doing them. The place I used to go to closed down and nobody is doing them the way I like them. It doesn't matter how many times I tell the person they need to arch them it never seems right. So, I decided to take a picture of myself with the good eyebrows when I got mine done the other day. What picture? My Phoenix name badge. On that picture they are perfect. They actually turned out pretty good (not as good but almost) so for the first time since Tim and Kathy (The lovely Vietnamese couple who owned Crystal Nails) closed shop my eyebrows look decent.

(Note: The pic is circa July 2007 and one of the last time's Kathy had done my eyebrows and on the actually day I received my eyeliner tattoo Thanks to Jane for being the historian on this day)

How could this have gone 24 hours without a comment?
I am so surprised that the certain male someone didnt get a tag name
The worst part that day was the red eyes (We both had) when we walked in after the emergency stop
Still amazed that Diane has never had eyebrows done
Love the arch when Kathy did it!
As I'm the "Certain Male Someone", I do want to validate your eyebrows look great. As you might have noticed, I am skilled with a set of clippers. I'll be happy to block off time to trim up the brows whenever you're in the PHX office, if you need the work done.
This is the funniest thing ever. I have a comment, but I'm bbming it to you rather than embarrassing anyone on the blog :)
oh, and I can just totally picture and hear what the convo between you and Jane sounded like. RO
