The "It's a Small World" ride at Disneyland closed on January 22nd for a nine month refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen in late November. In the meantime remember, it's a world of laughter and a world of tears, it's a world of hopes, it's a world of fears....(How great is that?)

I have nightmares about that song! We went to DisneyWorld several times when I was a kid, and that is my Mom's favorite ride. I can remember Dad saying at one point, "Go ahead and get on the ride, Helen. Ann and I are going to eat now." LMAO!
Condensed version of a LONG story:
In late January, we went to a funeral out of town. Grant's ex-girlfriend's mom watched our kids. Then asked us to stay over for dinner, too.
While we were having dinner, Grant's ex-girlfriend called her mom to tell her that she was stuck on the small world ride. They didn't let her off until almost 2 hours later.
I think that was the last time the ride was scene alive.
I have to admit that I'm a little scared that you actually know the words to that.
And now I'm a little mad that I have that song going through my head!!
I think the ride is cute and all, but once you hear the song, typed in perfect verbage above, it will stick in your mind throughout the entire day! GREAT, just now getting better from being sick and all I am going to do all day is sing it's a small world! LOL
