*While I used to think I was quick at getting dressed and ready in the morning, I am now faster than ever. I have condensed showering, brushing teeth, makeup, hair, letting Katie out to pee, feeding her and having my breakfast down to 20 minutes.
*Don't underestimate the time it takes to feed a baby during the middle of the night.
*Sometimes suppositories don't melt.
*It's wise to pick a BFF and to have a sister who are good with inserting suppositories and giving infant enemas.
*Even newborns appreciate the Starbucks experience.
*Diaper bags don't have to be huge.
*My right arm is getting really strong so how come it feels so weak?
*The stroller isn't as big of a pain as I anticipated.
*I wish I had played with dolls, it's fun dressing her up.
*I have no idea how my mom raised six of us.
*I don't miss work and I'm jealous of stay-at-home moms.
*I finally understand why some stay at home mom's say they never have time to get anything done. (I never got that before)
Happy Mothers Day, Mom! (and all the other moms too!)

Happy Mother's Day, Kim...
I hope it has been a great "First" for you. I love the pictures...wait until you see how fast she changes and grows....it's freaky, man! I guess I should have said "amazing"....it's just uncanny..ok, enough with the adjectives, just enjoy it!
Hugs
Sheila
Happy Mums Day!
Now imagine how little gets done by SAHM's who have more than one at home! It's mind-boggling!
And a Happy 1st Mom's Day to you!
Happy Mother's Day! I agree with so many of your new discoveries. I hope your first Mother's Day was wonderful!
Happy first Mother's Day -- it's my fifth and I'm still reeling!! However, my arms are toned and Madonna-esque after toting kids for5 years! Yah baby!
Happy Mother's Day. I hope both you and your own mommie had a wonderful day. kays
Happy 1st Mother's Day! It's so fun to hear/read about you learning all of these new things.
Hope your mother's day was wonderful!
That's a great picture at the hospital. Kim, you're a wonderful mother. It's so fun seeing you be a mom. Love you!
When I was home during my maternity leave with Raea, I was so made I couldn't keep the house clean.
Not much has changed!
Love this post! I found that only one arm got stronger...a baby carrier is like a purse-it only "feels" right on one arm! Although I know that you didn't really ever carry a purse...
So rarely do you make me speechless.
Wow, stay at home mom.
And yes I am an expert an infant enemas (apparently)
