An alarming moment is buying milk that expires on Christmas and realizing that you have not started your Christmas shopping.This realization will send you directly to the mall. Unfortunately, once there, you will be surrounded by an incredible lack of urgency by 90% of the retail sales force. Ahh, Sense of urgency, the topic of one of my next blogs.

Ever hear of shopping online?
Actually, most of my shopping is being done online this year. I bought all of David's gifts tonight via the internet. It is still important to venture out. If I had not gone to the mall today I would have missed out on the following:
(1) I bought some great Columbia shoes when I was in Jackson Hole in June. I wore them once and then I think I left them in Lake Arrowhead in August. I was so mad! I had looked on the internet, a bunch of stores and couldn't find them. Well today, I found them, on clearance, at the Sports Authority, for 20 bucks!!!! I was so excited. I'm wearing them tomorrow.
(2) Hanging out with my sister, Rachel.
(3) Coming up with the Sense of Urgency story for tomorrow's blog.
Alyssa and I were working on our Christmas shopping list today...guess who's name popped out of her mouth??? Kim!! What is the deal? :-)
Gosh, I wonder if these new shoes are as attractive as the ones you featured a while back.
