Episode 1 of the Kim and Laura show is entitled "Bahama Bucks". In this episode Laura takes Kim to Bahama Bucks in Mesa, Arizona. This is Kim's first visit to the shaved ice chain.

My mouth is watering! In New Orleans we had snowballs that look exactly like this...without the fancy umbrella! Could you send me one please? They've never heard of them here!
First, I'm so glad there was a second episode that actually showed these things. I grew up with homemade shaved ice so when I heard there was a marshmallow flavor, I thought my version of shaved ice was not what we were dealing with here. But nope, that is it and I still can't imagine a marshmallow flavor!
Second, when are we getting a Bahama Bucks in LA?!
Third, the on the fly descriptions were perfect! "Combo of bad alcohol and popsicle sitting in parents' freezer for too long." Now that, I get! Brilliant!
Fourth, who in the world did you get to hold the camera while you were ordering? You were both on camera for so long without going out of frame but I didn't see a third patron the entire time!
Fifth, when can we expect the next episode? I'm hooked!
I am SOOOO lovin the Kim and Laura show! I am with MTC, when is the next episode? Now, as for Bahama Bucks, I need to go try one right away, they look soooo good! Where are they at?? I need to be filled in on ordering tips. Gilligan's Grape, Marshmallow, Tarzan, Cream...so many different things! KT, yours looked delicious and Laura, I am totally intrigued by the marshmallow flavor. I am a huge fan of marshmallow, this is a must try!! I am now obsessed with Bahama Bucks!
As I said over at Jane's blog, I read regularly but I never comment. This was so funny that I thought I would make my first comment. Great show, I am looking forward to more.

One ordering tip that was not discussed is the suger free syrup. Zero calories and not even worth putting in your mouth.

FYI-I wouldn't have even tried the marshmallow.That sounds like yuck! I guess to each his own.
