May I Go?
May I go now?
Do you think the time is right?
May I say goodbye to pain filled days
and endless lonely nights?
I've lived my life and done my best,
an example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond
and set my spirit free?
I didn't want to go at first,
I fought with all my might.
But something seems to draw me now
to a warm and living light.
I want to go
I really do.
It's difficult to stay.
But I will try as best I can
to live just one more day.
To give you time to care for me
and share your love and fears.
I know you're sad and afraid,
because I see your tears

Oh, man. Crying at work...not good. So sorry!
I'm so sorry, Kim.
I like the poem.
I am SO sorry Kim. I am so sad for you. I love Molly even though I never knew her. She is precious and an angel and she is loved and missed :(
Who else but Kim would think of me in my sorrow. Molly was the best of cats and she actually honored Kim with an appearance once (no small thing I might add.) This is esp. touching since our girl has spent the day admitted to the hospital. She has undergone just about every test imaginable. It's amazing to me that she would think to post about Molly and not mention her own troubles. I am hesitant to say too much as I think this needs to come from her but she can certainly use our prayers! Thank you darling Kim and know you are definitely in my prayers. kays
