Crab and Avocado fill my California Roll. This is just one of the lines in Sydney's book entitled "My First Book of Sushi" by Amy Sanger. This book is one of many by Sanger who highlights cuisine throughout the world in her writing.
Last night at Sushi Roku Sydney decided to try and do away with the last line of the book.
Tabiko Flying Fishy Roe flying from Japan, Someday I'll eat with chopsticks but today just with my hands
P.S. The manager from Sushi Roku that had gone missing (Dave) is back. What is that mean for the Thomas family? A return to free deserts. Love him!

Sydney has always been a bit advanced (and particular) about her food :) She's so cute!
Love this kid and love this book! Thought of buying it for myself (since I had sushi for the first time with Sydney!) but I can't pronounce any of the words...
How cute.
That picture on the left was taken just seconds before she dropped the little dish and it shattered after hitting the table base. She was a good girl that night. Thanks, Sydney!
